There are a lot of islands in Indonesia. One of them is Kalimantan Selatan (English: South Kalimantan). South Kalimantan has the beautiful view that is very beautiful and it is still very natural. If you love to travel, you should come to South Kalimantan because it has many beautiful place to go. The nature in Kalimantan is still fresh. You can go there if you need a place to refresh your mind.
In this article, I would like to share how beautiful the nature of South Kalimantan. I will share 3 places that is very popular in rhis city. The places are different each others. It has its own uniqueness.
1. Pasar Terapung (English: Floating Market).
Pasar Terapung is the market that is very popular in Kalimantan. It is the unique market. The way of work this market is different form others. It is one of the most visited by tourists. There are a lot of goods that is sell in this market. It is varied. It can be food that is from garden. This market used to barter to buy the goods without using money. If you want to see this market, you have to come in the morning on 05:00 until 07:00.
2. Pulau Kembang (English: Flower Island) Pulau Kembang is the other place that is beautiful after Pasar Terapung. Pulau
Kembang is called the kingdom apes because there are hundreds or thousands
of monkeys here. Local people say that there is a myth of the island that is a monkey who is very great in the island, which is called the king of the apes. You can not only see the monkeys, you could see Bekantan if you are lucky. That is kind of long tail macaques that has a
long nose with yellowish color that is very unique in this island. If we go to the island and we go inside we will be greeted by two statues
of white monkey (hanoman).
3. Pulau Samber Gelap (English: Dark Samber Island) Pulau Samber Gelap is the last place that is very beautiful that I want to tell. It is located in Kotabaru, South Kalimantan. If you want to go there, you should come in April, May,
October, November, and December, where the wind is tight. It certainly
will make your holidays is more fun. The sand of the beach is white and very soft, the
waves are not great, and the sea water is clear that makes the
island looks very beautiful. Pulau Samber Gelap has underwater scenery that is very lovely, It is not surprising if the place is a favorite place to diving and snorkeling. There are various activity can do in Pulau Samber Gelap, You can swim,
sunbathe, relax on the beach, looking at the beautiful scenery sunset, fishing,
diving, and snorkeling.
Well, we can see that there is a lot of beautiful nature in South Kalimantan. As a Indonesian we should be proud of it and look after properly. We must maintain and preserve it. We can also promote this beautiful nature to foreigners to be known by many people. The more people who knows it the more this place could be famous to the world.
